Seems to me a perfect thing to keep on the kitchen counter filled with homemade treats--and the grape-like stacked balls on the lid make a good handle for young (as well as old) hands to easily grip

and then that lovely little turned detail at the very end of the blonde one

but this one struck me as quite lovely and nicely done

but all of the lids come off easily and close tight

4  7/8" x 2 11/16" x 1 1/8" and in very good antique condition

Carved Mexican Carnival Mask in Bold Red and Blue Paint set of people Seems to me a perfectThis mask, Mexican I believe, and I think likely Guerrero, is all about the red and sky blue paint for me great color, great surface, and surely we all need a second pair of eyes. I believe the red indicates it as a Moor mask, used in dances representing fighting between the Christians and the Moors (Muslims). It appears to have been worn and with a good bit of age to it, with remnants of string at the temples on the back. 6" t x 4 3 8" measured
