Double-row self-aligning ball bearings are non-demountable. They are made in multiple series as open. They are characteristic with low friction and are suitable for higher rpm. The double-row self-aligning ball bearings are manufactured with cylindrical or conical opening, the taper ration of which is 1:12.
The bearings are fitted straight onto the conical pintle of the shaft, or by means of an adapter sleeve onto a cylindrical pintle. These bearings can transmit radial and limited axial forces.
The double-row self-aligning ball bearings are characteristic with two rows or balls with a common spherical track of the outer ring. This allows tilting of the inner bearing ring towards the outer ring around the center of the bearing, without affecting its correct function. These bearings are capable of compensating abaxiality, shaft deflection and even element malformation.
The bearings are supplied with standard clearance, bearings for special placing applications can be supplied either with lower or higher radial clearance. The bearings are manufactured in normal accuracy class.
