Single-row ball bearings with oblique joint are non-demountable. They are manufactured in multiple series. They are characteristic with low friction, high rigidity and silent run. The bearings are suitable for high rpm.
Single-row ball bearings with oblique joint have the bearing ring orbits designed so that the joins of their points of interface with balls contain acute angle – the so-called contact angle – with the perpendicular on the bearing axis. These bearings can transmit radial and axial forces simultaneously. Axial forces are only transmitted in one direction. Thrust duty increases with growing contact angle. Through suitable arrangement of a couple of bearings, dual axial load-carrying capacity can be achieved.
The bearings are manufactured with normal accuracy, for seating more demanding in terms of accuracy, or seating with higher rpm frequency, bearings with higher running accuracy are used.
